The National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) MID CAL is a trade association that was established in part to give Minority Contractors a presence in the State Capitol of Sacramento to address the laws and legal needs and concerns of NAMC state members. While membership is open to people of all races gender and ethnic backgrounds, the organization’s focuses on construction industry concerns common to African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans. And also address workforce issues facing minority trade workers.
Our Mission
- Provide education and training to minority construction contractors
- Promote the economic and legal interest of minority construction contractors
- Advocate law and government actions for minority contractors
- Bring about wider procurement and business opportunities for minority contractors
- Reduce and remove barriers to full equality for minority contractors
- Build bridges between minority contractors and the entities they work
- Create a forum for sharing information and mutual support.
- Cultivate new partnerships and relationships throughout California create and develop and establish opportunities at the State level for our members .
